Our Self-Image

AgrarNatur – for a vibrant agriculture

Who We Are

Family-run business with experience

For three generations, we have been farming our estate in Styria. Our focus is on growing grain, potatoes, and oilseeds. We rely on crop rotation and organic fertilization to keep the soil healthy in the long term.

“Soil is our capital – we nurture it so it can sustain us.”

Who We Work For

Regional buyers and direct marketing

We supply our products to mills, bakeries, and farm shops in the area. A growing portion goes directly to private households through our subscription boxes. We value short distances and personal relationships with our customers.

“Transparency from field to plate is important to us.”

Our Approach

Sustainability as a principle

We avoid synthetic pesticides and instead rely on beneficial insects and mechanical weed control. Our irrigation is demand-driven using drip systems. We evaluate every decision for its ecological and economic impact.

“Farming in harmony with nature – that is our way.”

Our Tone

Factual, clear, down-to-earth

We communicate without exaggeration or empty promises. Instead, we provide insight into our daily work, explain connections, and share experiences. Our goal is to build trust and invite dialogue.

“No advertising slogans – real insights into agriculture.”

The agroforestry consulting helped us integrate woody plants into the arable land in a meaningful way. Biodiversity has increased, and the microclimate has noticeably improved.

Helena Kapeller Biohof Kapeller

The new irrigation techniques have reduced our water consumption by a third. The plants are doing better, and the work is made easier by sensor control.
