From the idea to an established force in sustainable agriculture – the key milestones of our journey.
More about usHelena Hammer and Florian Schwaighofer develop the concept for a farm that combines ecological responsibility with modern agricultural technology. Initial discussions with regional farms and agricultural scientists form the foundation.
In collaboration with an organic farm in Upper Austria, testing of new cultivation methods begins. The results show: gentle soil cultivation and targeted crop rotation measurably increase soil fertility.
The network grows to twelve agricultural farms. Together, irrigation techniques and agroforestry systems are tested. Initial biodiversity funding projects are implemented.
Under the brand AgrarNatur, the first certified products from sustainable production enter the market. The focus is on regional cycles and short transport routes.
With its own training program for farmers, practical knowledge on green manure, water management, and agroforestry is imparted. Over 200 participants in two years.
Since 2023, we have been accompanying over 100 farms annually on their path to greater sustainability.
Our Drive
You receive practical solutions for arable farming, soil fertility, and water management – without empty promises, but with proven methods from daily work in the field.
Answers on sustainable agriculture, soil care, and modern cultivation methods.
Green manure improves soil structure, binds nutrients, and promotes soil life. Suitable plants include clover, lupins, or mustard.
Drip irrigation reduces water consumption by up to 50% and is particularly suitable for row crops and vegetable cultivation.
Agroforestry systems with fruit trees or poplars protect against erosion, improve the microclimate, and create additional sources of income.
A diverse crop rotation with legumes, cereals, and root crops prevents nutrient deficiencies and pest infestations.
We offer soil analyses including pH value, humus content, and nutrient profile. Contact us to schedule an appointment.
Humus stores carbon long-term in the soil, improves water retention capacity, and reduces fertilizer leaching.
